Star Wars Battlefront II won't fill the entire screen? I've had Battlefront II since its release and have been playing it on my laptop for about two years now with no problems whatsoever. However, today when I tried to play it, instead of filling the entire screen, it appeared as a box in the center of a bunch of black.

I’m using Direct X 12 and I’m seeing some performance issues, what should I do?
We’re aware that some players using Direct X 12 may see micro-stuttering or other performance issues. While we’re working on a fix for this, we recommend that you change your settings to use DirectX 11 instead.
Here’s how:
- In-game, go to the Home screen.
- Click Options, then Video.
- Scroll to Enable DirectX 12 and toggle the switch to Off.
- Restart the game to apply the change.
NOTE: If you have dual GPUS, and you’re using DirectX 12, we recommend switching back to DirectX 11 until we have a fix for the performance issues.
We’ll update here when you’re good to switch back to DirectX 12 again.
I’m using AMD Eyefinity and I’m getting a black screen
We’ve had reports of some performance issues with Eyefinity in Star Wars Battlefront II, and we’re working on resolving them. In the meantime, we’d advise against using Eyefinity when you play. We’ll update here as soon as we have a workaround or a fix for you.
I’m using an AMD graphics card with the latest drivers, and Lightsabers are invisible. How can I fix this?
This is a graphical bug, and we’re working on it. We’ll let you know when it’s fixed.

If you haven’t enabled auto-download on your PlayStation 4, you can download Star Wars Battlefront II from Purchased games in your Library, starting November 14.
I pre-ordered and I have EA Access, but I’m getting a “too early” error message when I try to play the Play First trial?
Try this:
- Go to the Xbox Store.
- Open the Star Wars Battlefront II page.
- Select the Free Trial button and press A to start your trial.
If the trial doesn’t show for you, hold down your Left Trigger (LT), Right Trigger (RT) and Y button for a few seconds, then release them to refresh the store.
I lost my connection to EA Servers when my Xbox went into standby with the game running, now I can’t reconnect.
We’ve had reports of this happening. To get around it, you’ll need to fully restart your Xbox One. If you think you might be away from your console long enough for it to go into standby, exit the game to prevent this happening again. The good news is, we’re working on a fix for this too.
The game froze/crashed on me in Campaign mode, what should I do?
When you restart the game, restart your current mission from the beginning just in case your save file has been affected by the crash.
Why can’t I equip the weapon I unlocked in my last End of Round in Multiplayer?
We’re working on making this smoother, but for now, you need to exit the match and start a new multiplayer game to have your new weapon available to you.
